Private Practice 101: Building a Successful and Authentic Private Practice

Is your dream to have the autonomy and flexibility of being in private practice? Are you worried that you will not be able to have a steady stream of clients? Are you stuck on how to get started? Group Consultation for the Business Side of Private Practice

Are you hoping to start or grow your private practice in the mental health field? Have you thought about hiring a business coach but shy away because of cost? Do you feel isolated?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this business coaching group is for you.  By participating in this group experience, you will learn the methods that have built my practice, as well as other therapists' practices in the Denver metro area. These skills include the basics of starting a private practice, developing a niche, marketing strategies that work, how to network as an introvert, and get support and accountability from other clinicians going through a similar process. Like our clients, no one practice is the same. To build YOUR authentic and successful practice you need to use your creativity and authenticity. The group will be tailored to fit the participants.

Speaker
​Sybil Cummin, MA, LPC maintains a successful private practice specializing in working with children, adolescents, and families.  She graduated with her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver.  Sybil  worked in a variety of settings including hospitals and agencies before jumping into the business world of private practice.  In addition to providing counseling services to her clients, Sybil supervises master’s level interns and LPC candidates, and provides business consultation services to clinicians embarking in the world of private practice.  Sybil uses her experiences, good and bad, of starting her own practice to help clinicians find their vision and success in private practice.
