Brittany Hart, MA, LPCI believe that every person has the ability to grow and change no matter how far gone they feel. I also understand that life can be extremely difficult and that change is not easy. I am passionate about working with children and individuals who are experiencing a wide range of struggles and are looking for counseling. I believe that for counseling to be the most successful, it is important for the client to feel safe within the therapeutic relationship. I strive to help the client feel heard and safe in the counseling room.
I received my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Northern Colorado with a minor in Psychology. I was a teacher for three years before I decided to get my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary. My passion is to help people in their journey through life after trauma. I have worked with individuals who have struggled with addiction, abuse, suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, along with people who were experiencing a life changing event and have seen the power that Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing can have to help people overcome each of these experiences. I am a Colorado native who loves to hike and ski. My husband and I love to travel whenever we can. We also have a English Bulldog who loves to cuddle. I also have a niece and two nephews who I love to spend time with. |

I have a passion for connecting with and empowering children, teens, and their families. I am a Colorado native and enjoy snowboarding in the winter. My husband and I love to be outdoors when the weather permits us to be, and we appreciate how many beautiful places there are to hike and explore in Colorado. |
Sabrina Merz, MA, LPCI enjoy developing authentic, collaborative and empathetic relationships with my clients, and believe that everyone can enact positive change in their lives. Richard Bland, BS, InternThroughout my life I have found myself wanting to help others and have hoped to find a career where assisting others through their struggles was a main aspect. I hope to apply these factors into helping clients learn to help themselves by providing skills and strategies that lead to their healing and recovery. Deciding to enter therapy is a decision that I applaud others for and am honored to be the one who guides you through life’s ups and downs.
I graduated from the University of Oregon in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. I am now an intern student from Colorado Christian University in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I have studied and been trained in the subjects of depression, anxiety, and a multitude of other psychological distresses. I grew up just outside of Portland, Oregon and moved to Colorado in 2022. I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with family, or taking care of my dog. I have yet to explore much of Colorado, but so far have loved everything this beautiful state has to offer! |
Bruce Kenyon, BA, InternThere are inherently nurturing ways of relating to ourselves and others that foster connection and growth; however, for various (bio-psycho-social/cultural) reasons, these ideals are often forgotten, overlooked, or become inaccessible. Through a non-judgmental, compassionate and attuned approach I strive to be with each client in their full spectrum of being- their unfolding process and unique expression.
As my career in massage has taught me - my role as a Mental Health Counselor is facilitating each individual in their process towards what is most beneficial for their highest aspirations- while recognizing how it intersects with their broader context. As a graduate student at Naropa University I am learning a somatic approach in which the experience of being with your body is offered as a focal point in accessing, moving through and repatterning past and current traumas. Deeping into relationships with our body also translates into skills for long term resilience. I have a background in art making/teaching and working with kids, which continue to be sources of inspiration. Creativity, play, and joy are my favorite parts of life. In my free time connecting with nature, music, cooking and community are crucial for staying grounded in such turbulent times. |
Alec Rozmiarek, BA, InternAs an aspiring counselor, I am honored to have the privilege of witnessing others tell their own story and empower themselves to make changes. I am passionate about collaborating with people to recognize their strengths and utilize them in ways that are specifically tailored to the individual. I emphasize the power of the therapeutic relationship in addressing everyday problems, as well as how they tie into the big picture of our attitudes toward ourselves, those close to us, and our lives as a whole.
I am a student working towards a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Colorado at Denver. My experience working with children who have special needs has demonstrated for me that every individual has their own story, needs, complexities, and perspectives, and has instilled within me a drive to approach my work with positivity, empathy, fun, and understanding. |
Cody Sullivan, MA, InternAs a social work intern, I am here to provide support and share tools to help you grow and overcome life’s challenges. Seeking out therapy is both brave and scary, and I strive to provide individuals with a judgment-free environment.
I graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a B.S. in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. I have been in social work for five years, including time as a case manager with Child Protective Services and most recently at a state agency for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This summer, I will complete my Master’s in Social Work at Boise State University. I grew up in Broomfield, Colorado, and after spending a few years living in the Inland Northwest, decided I missed the sun. Hiking, biking, and climbing are my favorite ways to maintain my own mental health. |
Kendall Woods, BA, InternAs a Clinical Mental Health intern, I am dedicated to supporting individuals on their path towards healing and personal growth.
